About Us- Meet the Owners
We are the Balmer’s and we would love for you to learn more about us. Andy and Brooke have been married almost 20 + years and have three children.
Our Moving Box Rental Business of Lancaster County is a locally owned family biz that began in 2022 as a means to create additional income for our family while working full time careers. Andy works as an Auto Mechanic. Brooke has worked in the Operating Room for 20+ years as a Surgical Technologist.
I (Brooke) also run my own Health and Wellness Network Marketing Business online as well as an Online Side Hustle Coaching Biz.
The kids will help us deliver and pick up Moving Boxes and sanitize them in between uses….such a big help! We believe in the importance of teaching our kids hard work and we view this business as God’s business where we are only stewards of it.
As a family, we love to spend time together having family movie nights, game nights, biking, hiking, swimming, and living the outdoors life. The kids are also active in school sports. We also attend a local church where the kids are active in Youth Group. We (Brooke and Andy) are Marriage Mentors, Financial Peace Coordinators, and active in our Adult Bible Fellowship Group.
This business is not about us…but rather our prayer is to bless our customers through serving them in a godly manner so that the Lord is glorified above all else. We always strive to give the best customer service possible!

How Moving Box Pros Was Created
In 2022, we decided to launch our own Moving Box Rental Business as we noticed a need for this in our Lancaster Area. While there are many unique and useful businesses in our community, we noticed there weren’t too many businesses offering this type of service in the area we live.
So we saw an opportunity to help our community get what they need without having to pay for expensive out of town companies to deliver moving boxes. We also understand how annoying it is to have to hunt for cardboard boxes, buy packaging tape, packing supplies, etc when moving and we knew there had to be a better solution!
Business and home growth is booming here in Lancaster and surrounding counties…New homes are popping up everywhere and businesses are starting all over the area.
And that’s where WE come in!
These new Home Owner’s and Businesses need an easier and more convenient way to pack and unpack their belongings.

Have you ever noticed how much junk you tend to accumulate over the years? It just doesn’t get easier, does it?
We understand how much people HATE the process of moving…(at least WE do!!)….and that people need an easier way to pack up their homes or offices, unpack, and not be burdened with all those cardboard boxes to find and then get rid of…what a pain!
We typically serve Lancaster County but if you live outside our delivery zone, just reach out…perhaps we can still work out a way to help you!
We see this business as way to help people make their lives just a little bit easier amidst the stress that is already filling their minds!
Awful Memories Of Moving Over The Years
Not only have I (Brooke) moved ALOT over the years, but I’ve also helped others move alot as well. My parents, siblings and I had the joy of moving over and over as we grew up. Oh my word…the stories I could share about moving days!
Dumpster diving for boxes, asking people on social media, “Anybody have any old boxes I can have???”….then having to go pick them up…sometimes all the way across town.
I would ask my coworkers to save me cardboard boxes and then I would pull up my vehicle after work, break them down flat, load them up, then have to reassemble them at home to be used. THEN…I’d have to find the tape, and the markers to write each room on the box… but oh, crud…where did i lay it?? Oh, here it is, under this pile of boxes…you get the picture!! The entire moving process literally makes me cringe to this day.
But now I know a cool company that delivers bins to the door so I don’t have to deal with that ever again ; )
After learning about this amazing option of reusable moving boxes, I honestly don’t understand why people would pay for cardboard boxes only to have to go through the hassle of getting rid of them again and throwing them away.
If this option had been around years ago, our lives would have been WAY easier…and WAY more organized!!
